#System requirements
To use PhotoWalker,
you need a PC with:

Windows 98 or later operating system, or Macintosh OS8 or later operating system

CPU Pentium or PowerPC (500MHz or higher processor is advisable)

256MB or more of RAM

Available hard-disk:
- Installation requires 25MB or more disk space
- Operation requires 100MB or more disk space
- 800x600 or higher resolution monitor, to show 16-bit (65,000) or more colors
- 56kbps or higher-baud modem, always-on connection is recommended
The above requirements are minimum to use PhotoWalker. To deal with a lot of photos
or high-resolution photos, or to improve performance, you need higher CPU and
a large amount of RAM.
We have tested the performance of PhotoWalker
on several machines with the following specifications:
- WindowsXP Professional SP1, Pentium4 1.8GHz, 1GB of RAM,
850GB of available hard-disk space,
and 1280x1024 and 1024x768 24-bit color monitors.
