Syllabus: DESIGNING SFC SPIRITS (GIGA) 2020 - Keio SFC

  • This assignment is going to be shared with all the lecturers in advance so as to let them know students’ characteristics and promote smoother engagements and communications over zoom calls.

The introduction should entirely cover the following; where you have lived, what you have done, what your interests are and what you are doing/going to study at SFC. Please include what you would like to do and dreams/challenges you may have in the future if any.

Be sure to keep it to ONE PAGE (because it is not too many, but not too few for me to get to know you). Please include your name, grade, and photos of yourself and what represents you. There is no specific requirement/number limitation for photos of you, but ones that explain your personality the most are preferable.

This screening is not asking for a typical resume or wordy application, but something that is designed in a way of your aesthetic. The most important things are to make yours visually attractive, and easy to understand.

And here is good news for you: this year we are hoping to accept more people than usual, as we do not have classes onsite. The screening is not designed to see if your interests and experience match to the contents of class. However, if you don't meet the above content and format requirements (e.g., not writing the content properly, only writing and not including visual elements, submitting too little or too much in terms of volume, submitting in a file other than PDF format, etc.), you may not be accepted.

Also, there is a limit to the amount of file size that can be uploaded, and SFC-SFS gets heavy right before the deadline, so please prepare yours in good time.

We are really looking forward to seeing your unique introductions!

    Assignments, Examination and Grade Evaluation

Grading will be based on attendance, class activity, reflection reports, and final assignment.
