Brief Introduction of the Book

This book introduces you to not reports about facts on child prostitution mainly in Asian countries but introduces you to some projects in the Phillippines, Thailand, Japan and all over the world for eradication of child prostitution.

It introduces a general remarks in chapter one, present condition in the Phillippines, Thailand and Japan in chapter two, and contents for revision of law in Japan and other countries in chapter three.

We claim eradication of Asian child prostitution.

A number of children, which are more than a population of Japan, have been thrown away to street or being sold and bought to be compeled to work as slaves. Target of prostitution is not only girls. Pedophiles who abuse children sexually also target boys who have smaller anus and narrower bowels.

There is a fact that large-scaled sex tours by Japanese men have been done in this ten years. Japanese men boast with each other of how many virgins they have bought by financial power and brokers hunt for children for Japanese who pay a large sum of money. Since there are buyer, trades are arranged and brokers make big money. If there is no buyer, trades can not be arranged. Thinking about this, Japanese are also to blame of child prostitution.

When an ecumenical union on touristic problem in the Third World (ECTWT) hold an international meeting on child prostitution in Chiang Mai, Thailand, the participants all shocked by the report and started to establish an organization called ECPAT, End Child Prostitution in Asian Tourism, an international campaign. ECPAT has engaged in not only child prostitution but also child abuse. CASPAR also has engaged in child prostitution and child abuse.

Japan is deeply involved in child prostitution in Asian countries. And also in Japan, as we think about child pornography, Burusella, Japayuki-san, and Shimodate case, Asian women are continuously deceived and compeled to work as prostitutes. Treaty of Children's rights has been ratified in March 1994. However the contents are not clear. We have to do our best to revise a law of child welfare for prohibiting child prostitution and child pornography and put the end to child prostitution as soon as possible.
