Japansese teenagers help at New Life Projects
Two groups of Japanese teenagers visited New Life project sites in Kanchanaburi and Chumphon provinces where they worked and played with the residents.

Firstly 80 children from the Japan Chamber at Nagano made a one day visit to Kanchanaburi. They helped with the farm work during the day and had a party with youths resident at the project in the evening.

At the end of August 44 children aged 13 and 14 from Japan Junior Chamber at Maruoka went to Chumphon for a 4 day visit.

The visiting children helped with the farm work during thier visit.There were also many social activities ,sporting competitions and cultural shows from hosts and guests.

For the youth s at the New Life Project it was a welcome chance to meet children from abroad. The differnt languages was no barrier to freindship and there were many tearful eyes when it wat time to say good-bye.
