N.C.W.A. ORGANIZATION
Thailand's National Commission on Women's Affairs (NCWA) consists
of the Prime Minister or a Deputy Prime Minister designated by the
Prime Minister as Chairman, a Minister to the Office of the Prime
Minister designated by the Prime Minister as Vice-Chairman, heads of
specialized government agencies, representatives of non-governmental
women's organizations, and individual experts totalling 30 persons.
The Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Office of the Prime
Minister is member and secretary of the NCWA.
The Secretariat with its permanent staff is attached to the
Office of the Permanent Secretary of the Office of the Prime Minister.
It provides technical support and administrative services to the NCWA
and its national committees.
