Secretariat of the NCWA

The Office of the National Commission on Women's Affairs, Office of the Permanent Secretary of the Office of the Prime Minister acts as the Secretariat of the NCWA, with the following functions:

(1) to carry out the activities entrusted by the NCWA; 

(2) to study and analyze data concerning the promotion of women's activities and roles, and to prepare strategies to implement the policies and master plan approved by the Council of Ministers;

(3) to coordinate works with government agencies, state organizations, state enterprises and private organizations in providing support and assistance for women's development;

(4) to consider and submit recommendations to the NCWA on the revision of existing legislation for the promotion of women's activities, roles and status;

(5) to act as a centre for the corrdination of dissemination and public relations for women's works and activities.
