夢の痕
1994年に冬季オリンピックが開催されたリルハンメルへ行ってきた。
長野へ行ったことがないから、どう比べればいいのかわからない。もちろん今日が日曜日だったせいもあるだろう。だけど、とりあえず誰もいなかった。世界中の歓声を集めたであろうメイン会場には、もうただ座席だけが果てしなく残されている。
オリンピック博物館のも受付の係員以外、ほとんど人に会わなかった。ただ、過去のオリンピックにおけるノルウェーの功績を並べているだけの展示室。その真摯なうらぶれた感覚が、いくつかの寂しささえ通り越していた。
ただ、すごく風景がしっくりきた。空の色も広がる街並みも、すごく腑に落ちた。美しいとか難しいことはよくわからない。だけど、すごく納得できた。

夜の彼方には今でも
誰かに守られた朝が潜んでいる

はるか群青を連ねる
まるで終われずにいた物語のよう
幸福も勇者も永遠もない空の澪は
ただ隣の国まで羽を広げる
やがて朽ちるメモリアルを
ささやかに弔う鐘の音
いつか手繰られた本の片隅に
残されたわずかな希望の文字
すべてをやがて覆う終わりは
すべての無を意味はしない
消せない傷跡でさえ
消えてゆく世界の前ではいとしくなるのだろう
だからたとえば
弔うものが消えた次の日でも
待ち人のいないあの人の明日にも
誰かに涙した昨日や
誰かを待ち焦がれた今日は
残りつづける
あきらめたはずの風が指を撫でる
ふぞろいだった優しささえ指先からこぼれずに。
