世界一暮らしやすい国
「人間の豊かさ」指数、日本はベスト１０から転落国連開発計画（ＵＮＤＰ）は７日、世界各国の開発の現状をまとめた０５年版「人間開発報告書」を発表した。日本は健康、教育など「人間の豊かさ」を測る人間開発指数で１７７カ国・地域中１１位（前年は９位）と、初めてベスト１０から転落した。女性の政治・経済分野への進出度を示すジェンダー・エンパワーメント指数（ＧＥＭ）は４３位と、先進国では極端に低かった。
人間開発指数は平均寿命や就学率、１人あたり国内総生産（ＧＤＰ）などをもとに測定。日本は調査が始まった９０年と９１、９３年は１位だったが、バブル崩壊による経済の低迷で徐々に順位を下げ、００～０４年は９位だった。１位は９２年と９４～００年がカナダ、０１年からは５年連続でノルウェーが占めている。 (朝日新聞)
というわけで、世界一暮らしやすい国は5年連続ノルウェーとなりました。この「豊かさ」などという定性的な題名がついている分析で使われる指標は、
出生時平均余命、平均寿命、成人識字率、教育指数、GDP指数。
物価の高さ、冬の日照時間、鬱患者の数、公共の場所の汚さ、日曜日も開いているお店の数などを指標に加えたら、首位転落は間違いないでしょうね。
