世界の中心で愛を叫ぶ
一年半も逃げ続けていたのに、ついに見てしまった。世界の中心で愛を叫ぶ。
別に何も感じなかった。
この本を読んで泣いた人が、あまりにも物語経験が少ないのか、うちの感受性が乾いているのかわからないけれど、あまりにも普通の話だった。
寂れた遊園地、無人島、夜の墓地、オーストラリア、色々な小道具がきちんとおさえてあって、繊細な描写で、「Deep love」や「リアル鬼ごっこ」のような小説の破綻もなく、きっと合格点の小説なんだけど。
でも、どこで泣いたらいいのだろう。
もしかしたら、行間にいつも作者の顔を浮かべていたせいかも知れない。
