日本語は暗号じゃなかった

日本語を話す人に、昨日と今日で偶然３人にも会った。

一人目は、寮の部屋を探しているときにオスロ大学に学部生として入っている人。二人目は警察署であったネパールの人。日本語でガイドをしていたらしくて、丁寧語までばっちり。ネパールはいま色々大変らしい。アジアのこと、何も知らないや。そして、家具屋の帰りに会った、今年から修士でオスロ大学へ入学する日本の人。英語で、しかも学費がただでマスターがとれるから北欧、らしい。

日本語だと、誰もわからないだろうと思って喋ってしまうけれど、そうじゃないらしい。ただでさえ大きくないくにの、その中でも人口比が少ないであろう日本のことばなのに、ね。別にそこまで失礼で恥ずかしくてどうしようもないことを言っていたわけではないけれど。

今日行った場所が警察署と移民局だったせいもあるかも知れないけれど、外国人の多さが目立った。～系とかっていう言葉が意味をなさないくらい色々な国の、色々な人がいた。労働力不足を補うため、人道上の問題にたいして、いくつかの理由でノルウェーは移民がはいってきやすい環境を作っている。もちろんそのため色々なトラブルも起きていて、右寄りの党が議席を伸ばしつつあったり、ジレンマは続いているんだけど、まあ日本よりだいぶマシ。

そして、どうでもいいんだけど、ＣＩＴＡＲＯ！ベンツのノンステップバスが市内をガンガン走っていた。いくつバス会社があるのか知らないけど、ほとんどのバスがCITAROだった。
