クリストファー・アレグザンダーの紹介をしながら、よりよい教育学習環境の設計に関する25のパターンを提案している。具体的に新しいパターンを提案している本というのは、なかなかないので貴重だし、教育・学習の場づくりのパターンということで、興味深い。
